Dr. Kamisetty completed his MBBS from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, graduating with distinction, followed by MD in General Medicine from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, and DM in Medical Gastroenterology from Osmania Medical College. His academic record includes three gold medals during MBBS in Physiology, Pharmacology and Internal Medicine, along with top-ranking performances in competitive medical entrance examinations. Dr. Kamisetty has extensive experience in both diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy. His procedural expertise includes upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, endoscopic biopsy, polypectomy, variceal banding, endoscopic glue injection, ERCP, biliary stenting and diagnostic and therapeutic EUS. He also performs advanced procedures such as EUS-guided FNA/FNB, EUS-guided cystogastrostomy, EUS-guided gastrojejunostomy, EUS-guided glue and coil therapy for gastric varices, and third-space endoscopic procedures including EMR and POEM. Before his current appointments, he worked for more than three years as a Consultant Medical Gastroenterologist at KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad. He also gained oncology experience at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, Hyderabad, working within a multidisciplinary team with particular involvement in advanced endoscopic interventions for gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary oncology. Alongside clinical practice, Dr. Kamisetty has been involved in gastroenterology research and clinical trials and has authored clinical case reports concerning complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions. His published work includes reports involving stomal variceal bleeding, severe lower gastrointestinal bleeding and giant pseudopolyps, in addition to research in acute pancreatitis. MY BIO
