Dr Bishnu Baishyal is a psychiatrist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at GMCH. He is involved in both clinical psychiatric care and academic teaching, with a focus on the assessment, diagnosis and management of a wide range of mental health conditions.

His areas of care include anxiety disorders, depression, stress-related conditions, sleep problems, mood disorders, behavioural concerns, substance-related problems and other psychiatric conditions affecting emotional and psychological well-being.

Dr Baishyal follows a patient-centred and evidence-based approach to mental healthcare, with emphasis on careful assessment, confidential consultation, clear communication and individualized treatment planning. His goal is to help patients and families better understand mental health concerns and access appropriate professional support and treatment.
